ECB's Nowotny says inflation target must be viewed flexibly
VIENNA (Reuters) - The European Central Bank's target of inflation under but close to 2 percent should not be applied too narrowly, Governing Council member Ewald Nowotny said on Tuesday, arguing for it to be seen as a flexible and medium-term target.
