Easter May Be Washout As Storm Katie Looms

The Easter weekend could turn into a washout and disrupt travel plans for millions in the UK – despite some fine spring sunshine on Good Friday. Heavy rain and strong winds are predicted from Saturday as the weather turns increasingly unsettled over the next few days with Storm Katie expected to hit on Monday. It will start wet and windy in the north and west, but heavy rain and gusty winds will spread eastwards across all areas through the day.
