Donkey Rescued From Rising Floodwaters

A donkey has been rescued from rising floodwaters in Kilorglin, Ireland, thanks to the help of a local rowing club. Animal Heaven Animal Rescue (AHAR) issued a call for a boat and helpers on Sunday lunchtime, after being told the animal was stranded in deep flooding. Mike Fleming from the local rowing club agreed to launch a boat into the swollen river in a bid to save the donkey.
