Doctors advised to stop Gulf War veteran's life support

Doctors should stop providing life-support to a Gulf War veteran who was left in a coma after a road accident, a judge has ruled. Police officer Paul Briggs suffered a severe brain injury in a motorcycle crash in July last year. Mr Briggs' wife, Lindsey, had told had told Mr Justice Charles that her husband should be allowed to die.
