'Dedicated' Doctor Who Treated 7/7 Victims Dies
A "dedicated" doctor who helped treat victims of the 2005 London bombings has died after a fire at her north London flat. Dr Claire Sheppey, described by colleagues as an "amazing woman and doctor", passed away from injuries suffered during Wednesday morning's blaze. Firefighters rescued Dr Sheppey from her burning second-floor flat on Crowland Terrance, Islington, but she later died in hospital.
