Craig Mackinlay declares innocence over election spending charge

Tory candidate Craig Mackinlay has insisted he's "done nothing wrong" after being charged over 2015 general election spending.Mackinlay, who is standing to be re-elected as South Thanet MP on 8 June, is one of three people to have been charged with offences under the Representation of the People Act 1983.It follows an investigation into allegations concerning the Conservative Party's spending at the last general election.
