Corbyn: Trident Subs 'Don't Need' Warheads
Jeremy Corbyn has suggested the UK could keep its Trident submarines but that they do not need to be carrying nuclear warheads. The Labour leader, who is opposed to the renewal of Britain's nuclear deterrent made the comments, after launching a review of the party’s Trident policy. But as part of a compromise to "accommodate" some within his party and trade unions representing defence workers, Mr Corbyn suggested the Trident submarines could still be built.
