Jeremy Corbyn is facing his first major electoral test since becoming Labour leader as votes are counted in elections across the UK. Speaking after voting at a polling station in Islington, Mr Corbyn said he expected his party to perform well. In England, local elections have been taking place in 124 councils - with thousands of seats up for grabs.
