Contract To Be Imposed On Junior Doctors

The Government is to impose a contract on junior doctors across England, Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has told MPs. Mr Hunt said there was little prospect of a negotiated settlement in the dispute over changes to working arrangements following Tuesday's ballot result. The move comes after junior doctors and medical students rejected a contract brokered between the British Medical Association (BMA) and the Government.
