Concerns For Wildlife Blamed For Flooding

People in the Cumbrian village of Glenridding have blamed the Environment Agency for the flooding that devastated their homes - saying wildlife is being put before the lives of residents. Local river Glenridding Beck burst its banks again, as people were beginning to clean up after the floods and landslides caused by Storm Desmond at the weekend. Resident Carl Scrivens said he was "heartbroken" by the damage.
