Civil Servant Oliver Robbins Recalled By MPs

A senior civil servant who was kicked out of the Home Affairs Select Committee for giving "unsatisfactory" evidence has been told to return after failing to follow the chairman's orders. Oliver Robbins was asked to leave the hearing after MPs grew increasingly frustrated with his inability to answer questions about the Home Office on Tuesday. Now, the second permanent secretary to the Home Office will be hauled back in front of the committee on 20 April.
