Ciaran Maxwell: Bombs made by former Royal Marine likely 'still in circulation'
A number of bombs made by a former Royal Marine jailed for terrorism offences are likely still in circulation and in the hands of dissident republican groups in Northern Ireland, police have warned.Ciaran Maxwell, 31, a rifleman with 40 Commando in Somerset, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison after admitting stashing arms and explosives for use by terrorists groups.A sentencing hearing at the Old Bailey heard how Maxwell had constructed 14 pipe bombs.
