China And Britain 'Increasingly Interdependent'

Chinese President Xi Jinping has described his country and the UK as "increasingly interdependent" during his address to the Houses of Parliament. Mr Xi spoke in Mandarin to MPs and peers in the opulent Royal Gallery of the House of Lords on the first full day of his state visit to Britain. Mr Xi, who quoted both Shakespeare and ancient Chinese proverbs during the address, said Britain and China have "long shared a deep mutual affection".
