Child Protection Whistleblower Line To Launch
A whistleblower who says her concerns for vulnerable young girls were ignored has welcomed a new helpline for raising the alarm about child protection failures. The NSPCC will deliver the service on behalf of the Home Office - it launches on Monday with £500,000 pledged by the Government. Sara Rowbotham, who worked as Rochdale Crisis Intervention Team coordinator from 2004, was tasked with identifying young people vulnerable to child sex exploitation.
