Centuries Old Devon Shipwrecks Given Protected Status
Three historically important shipwrecks, which lie in the sands of Devon's coast, have been given protected status for their potential to shed light on key periods of British maritime history. The shipwrecks, one of which could date back as far as the 15th century, are rare survivals of wooden sailing vessels found in English waters.
