Carney: EU Has Made UK 'Dynamic And Stronger'

Britain's membership of the European Union has made the country more open, more dynamic and stronger, the Bank of England Governor has said. In a speech likely to be seized upon as ammunition for the "stay" side in the UK's forthcoming referendum on EU membership, Mark Carney said that Britain had benefitted from being a part of the Union. However, he added that there were risks that EU financial regulations could undermine the Bank's ability to manage the banking system in future.
