Call For Laws To Protect Animals In Roadshows

Animal rights campaigners are calling for news laws to protect exotic animals used in mobile zoos. Owners of mobile zoos aren't subject to regulation or inspections to ensure animal welfare. Campaigner Nicola O'Brien from The Captive Animals Protection Society told Sky News: "At the moment they don't really come under any legislation outside of the animal welfare act.
