Burnley Striker Andre Gray Apologises For Homophobic Tweets
Premier League footballer Andre Gray has been forced to apologise after homophobic tweets he posted in 2012 were shared on social media. It began to circulate online just minutes after the final whistle in Burnley's win over Liverpool, a game in which Gray scored the second goal. Responding to a massive online backlash, Gray, 25, said he wanted to ask for "forgiveness" from anyone offended by the comments, which he described as a mistake.
