Briton Dies After Collapsing In Malta Marathon

A Briton has died after collapsing close to the finishing line of a marathon in Malta, Sky sources have confirmed. The 55-year-old man became ill near the end of the 2016 Vodafone Malta Marathon in the popular seaside town of Sliema. The runner, who has not been identified, collapsed at about 11.30am and died shortly after arriving at Mater Dei Hospital, Malta Today reported.
