Britain's man in Washington swaps his Jaguar for a Bentley

Britain's US ambassador is trading in his chauffeur-driven Jaguar for a high-powered Bentley as part of a Government bid to promote Britain on the World stage.Sir Kim Darroch, who is based in Washington, will be given the use of a specially-adapted Bentley Flying Spur V8 worth more than £200,000.The Government secured the vehicle for £80,000 after being approached by Bentley and is confident it will eventually make money on the vehicle.
