Brexit backstop 'biggest red herring' of EU talks as MP claims Johnson to solve impasse

THE Brexit backstop has been the "biggest red herring" of the negotiations with the European Union as solutions to avoid a hard border on the island of Ireland "already exist," Tory MP Ranil Jayawardena has claimed.
