BP Pay Row: 'We Hear You' Says Chairman

Chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg told investors in London: "We hear you loud and clear" amid outrage over the $19.6m (£13.8m) award to Bob Dudley for a year that saw the oil firm record its worst financial loss for 20 years. But Mr Svanberg agreed to talks with major shareholders on a way forward - with up to 25% tipped to vote against the remuneration report. Mr Dudley, who has led BP since the aftermath of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill in 2010, was awarded a $1.4m (£990,000)
