Boy, 17, admits hacking offences linked to TalkTalk attack
A teenage boy has admitted seven hacking offences linked to an attack on mobile and broadband firm TalkTalk. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested in Norwich last November and charged with breaching the Computer Misuse Act 1990 following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police's Cyber Crime Unit. TalkTalk was the victim of what it described as a "significant and sustained" attack on its website on 21 October 2015.
