Border Force intercepts 74 migrants in boats off Kent coast

The Home Office says a total of 74 migrants were aboard the record number of eight migrant boats that landed off the Kent coast earlier today.The area of response has stretched across from Dover to Winchelsea Beach in East Sussex, where border force agents have been seen engaging with some of the migrants.Coastguards say they helped UK Border Force to intercept the eight boats on Saturday morning.
