Body Found In Thames Search For Missing Swimmer

A body has been found by search teams looking for a 16-year-old boy who went missing after going for a swim with friends in the River Thames. Ellis Downes, from Harwell, had not been seen since around 9pm on Saturday in Culham, near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. Thames Valley Police said divers recovered a body from the river at around 11pm on Monday night, which they believe to be the teenager, although formal identification has not yet taken place.
