Blood Test Hope For Depression Treatment

A new blood test is being introduced which doctors hope will help them to improve treatment for people who have depression. The test, say scientists at King's College, London, can accurately predict whether or not ordinary antidepressant drugs will help patients. Around 50% of people with depression do not respond to "first-line" antidepressants and a third are resistant to all currently available drug treatments.
