Birmingham prison secured after 12-hour riot

All four wings have been secured at HMP Birmingham - 12 hours after the start of a riot. Up to 600 inmates are thought to have been involved in the disturbance at the privately-run jail, Sky sources said. Specialist riot squads were sent in to win back control of the prison, which has a capacity of 1,450.
