Big Supermarkets Still Losing Market Share

The big supermarket chains are continuing to lose market share, although troubled Tesco is showing signs of stabilising, according to new analysis. The market as a whole grew by just 0.1% in the 12 weeks ending 22 May, according to figures from research group Kantar Worldpanel. The big four - Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Morrisons - each saw their sales decline, but Tesco's outlook has improved slightly after two bad years.
