Big Ben coverage 'gets on my wick', says Ruth Davidson

Ruth Davidson has said the level of media coverage devoted to the silencing of Big Ben's bongs "gets on my wick".One of those who gathered to mark the event was Labour MP Stephen Pound, who said it was a "desperately sad" moment and demonstrated a "real poverty of imagination".Ms Davidson, the leader of the Scottish Conservatives, reflected on coverage of the event at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, where she led a Q&A with broadcaster Jon Snow.
