Barnes Denies Gove Claim He Backs Brexit

Former England footballer John Barnes has told Sky News he doesn't back Brexit - contradicting Vote Leave campaigner Michael Gove. The Justice Secretary had claimed on Sky this morning that the ex-Three Lions player supported an exit from the European Union, as he gave his reaction to the news that David Beckham was backing Remain on 23 June. But Barnes told Sky News his views had been "misinterpreted" after he said in an interview that Brexit would be good for English footballers.
