Attempted Murder Hunt After Van Hits Policeman

An attempted murder hunt has been launched after a lorry struck a policeman and pinned him up against his car. It happened when officers in south Armagh were investigating the overnight theft of a cash machine in the Newry area. The officer's colleagues gave him emergency first aid on the rural Mullaghduff Road and a police helicopter took him to hospital.
