Arrested Man Cleared Of Killing Rochdale Cleric

A man who was arrested on suspicion of murdering a Muslim cleric in Rochdale has now been completely eliminated from the police's enquiries. After interviewing the 31-year-old, Greater Manchester Police confirmed he "had no involvement whatsoever in the tragic death of the deceased". The force's Major Incident Team are continuing to investigate the murder of the religious leader, who has been named locally as Jalal Uddin.
