Army called to detonate WWII phosphorous bombs found on building site

An Army bomb squad was called out to a building site to detonate a hoard of phosphorous explosives of the type issued to the Home Guard during the Second World War. Builders working at a site in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, uncovered a number of the unused bombs dating from the 1940s.
