'Bring it on!': Lib Dem Vince Cable to stand in snap election

Former business secretary Sir Vince Cable has confirmed he will be trying to win back his former seat of Twickenham.Following the PM's call for a snap General Election, he wrote on Twitter: "I plan to lead fight back to recapture Twickenham for Lib Dems.The 73-year-old held the south-west London seat from 1997 to 2016, and must overcome a slim Conservative majority of 2,017 votes.
