All-time Easter heat records broken as storms head in from France
All four UK nations have recorded their warmest Easter Monday of all-time, but the sunshine will soon give way to hail and thunder.The Met Office reported some glorious highs of 25C (77F) in England, 23.6C (74.5F) in Scotland, 23.5C (74.3F) in Wales and 21.4C (70.5F) in Northern Ireland.It follows Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland enjoying their warmest Easter Sunday on record.
