Alex Johnson: Search around River Tyne under way for missing man

A search is taking place for a man thought to have gone missing in the River Tyne in Newcastle.Alex Johnson, 24, from Chester-le-Street, is believed to have fallen from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle in the early hours of Tuesday morning.Before the search began at 11am on Saturday, his sister Ashleigh Marr said there had been a potential sighting but urged people to join the hunt in a post on social media.
