Albarn And Westwood To Mark WWI Centenary

Damon Albarn and Dame Vivienne Westwood are among a number of artists creating new works as Britain commemorates the centenary of the First World War. A programme encompassing theatre, film, literature and music has been announced, largely funded by the National Lottery. Blur frontman Albarn will play a concert at the Royal Festival Hall on London’s Southbank in June as part of his Africa Express project, which brings African and western musicians together.
