58 firefighters tackle blaze in east London

Eight fire engines and 58 firefighters have tackled a blaze in a flat on the 12th floor of a tower block in east London.London Fire Brigade said it was alerted to the fire at Grafton House in Wellington Way, Mile End, at 12.28pm and received more than 90 calls.Footage showed flames and smoke billowing from the high-rise flat as firefighters used an aerial ladder platform to get closer to the blaze from outside the building.
