British singer Adele has claimed that she turned down the chance to perform at the halftime show during the 2017 Super Bowl, but the event organisers have brushed off claims the 'Hello' crooner was officially invited to take to the stage. 
Adele told fans on Saturday during a concert at LA's Staples Center that she said no to the coveted halftime slot, previously filled by the likes of Beyonce, Coldplay and Katy Perry, because the show was "not about music."
