Donalda MacKinnon lands role as director of BBC Scotland

Donalda MacKinnon has been appointed as the director of BBC Scotland, responsible for content across radio, television and online.
MacKinnon was previously head of programmes and services for BBC Scotland. She will take up her new position immediately and will be based at Pacific Quay in Glasgow.
She takes over from Ken MacQuarrie, who in September took up the newly-restored UK-wide post of BBC director nations and regions.
