Ship Fire

Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received a call from member of the public reporting a fire smouldering in a ship in Teignmouth.Fire appliances from Teignmouth were immediately mobilised by fire control.On arrival the officer in charge confirmed there to be a small smouldering fire in the hold of a ship, containing wheat pellets.
