Fire service signs Dementia Friendly Charter

The chief fire officer and chair of County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Authority have today (Friday 12 Feb) signed a charter sealing the Service’s commitment to improving engagement with those who live with dementia.
Joined by Andrew Ball, the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Action Alliance project manager, at fire and rescue service headquarters in Belmont, Durham, chief fire officer Stuart Errington and fire authority chair Councillor Michele Hodgson pledged to:
