We assume that we get what it says on the tin, but with cuts to Trading Standards perhaps not …Are you really getting a litre of petrol at station forecourts? The pumps used to be checked once every six months. Now a petrol station is checked only once every two years. Is the weight printed on the side of a tin really what you get on the plate?
