Pound US dollar exchange rate: GBP stabilises as Fed says it will be ‘patient’

THE pound US dollar exchange rate is currently trading at $1.273, virtually unchanged this morning after shooting up roughly a cent on Friday. The pound appears to be consolidating its gains against the US dollar this morning after the pairing roared higher at the end of last week.
