Pound US dollar exchange rate: GBP holding against USD despite growing UK factory activity

THE pound US dollar exchange rate is currently at around $1.305, holding close to this morning’s opening levels and still down around a cent from last week’s peak. The pound is range bound against the US dollar this morning as markets reflected on some mixed manufacturing figures from the UK.
