Nuclear power plant staff ‘risked state secrets by mining Bitcoin’

STAFF at a Ukrainian nuclear power plant were arrested after allegedly using equipment to mine cryptocurrency – risking sensitive state secrets. Court documents seen by Ukrainian media outlet InternetUA state the unauthorised use of computer equipment connected to the internet could have exposed top-secret intel about the security of the plant.
