Construction and retail get warmer

BRITAIN’S economy gathered momentum in the second quarter after a warm weather boost for construction and services. Gross domestic product grew 0.4 per cent between April and June compared with the first three months of 2018, when the Beast from the East restricted growth to 0.2 per cent.
