Coinbase chief blasts US Senate over Libra letters

THE head of one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges has slammed US senators as “un-American” over their attempts to stop Facebook’s Libra crypto project in its tracks. Facebook announced in June that it planned to launch its own cryptocurrency to its two billion worldwide users under a newly-formed umbrella organisation called Calibra.
