Council forced to write off over 1m of uncollected debts
Over 1 million pounds has been written off as uncollected debts by a council in Wales.
Denbigh County Council predicted in December that it would be £2.1m over budget by the end of the current financial year, a situation worsening as construction costs rise and energy bills soar.
