Planning green light given for new government hub in York
An application put forward by the Government Property Agency (GPA), Homes England and Network Rail, for an new state-of-the-art government office development in York, has been approved by the City of York Council Planning Committee.
Earmarked for completion in 2027/2028, the six-storey, 195,000 sq ft government hub, which includes 135,000 sq ft of flexible office space, with ground floor retail and ancillary space will be home for up to 2,600 civil servants.
